Nelly is a very friendly and active pup who recently weaned her six puppies and is ready for some me time. She was an excellent mother and took great care of her pups. She comes when called and takes her treats gently. She rides well in the car, just settles down and takes a nap. After her puppies were weaned she slept in fosters bedroom at first on a dog bed then on the bed with the other dogs. Nelly was spayed and is waiting for her new family to come meet her. She loves to go out in the yard and play, she retrieves nicely, brings the ball back and drops it so you can toss it again. Nelly is a very good dog who will make some lucky family a super companion.

Pippa is a sweet and friendly girl who was found as a stray. Her transporter reported that she crates well and is a great passenger in the car. We can also report that she loves to give kisses! She is keeping her run clean at the vet and at the kennel too. We will update more on Pippa as we get to know her, but we can already tell that she will make a wonderful addition to a very lucky family!

Shadow is in search of a new home to haunt! This darling hunk of Lab is a happy, friendly fellow, who can be a little shy at first, but warms up with time and patience. He knows a few cues like sit, stay, down, and shake. He walks well with a gentle leader, though we recommend the EZ-Walk harness instead, as he is eager to greet other dogs on walks. Shadow is house- and crate-trained, but hasn't needed the crate for a while. He enjoys playing in the yard, taking walks, and playing fetch with just about anything. He hasn't had much chance to swim, but he does enjoy splashing and trying to catch the water droplets! Shadow is not a huge fan of car rides and typically takes medicine to help him relax on longer rides.  Shadow is good with other dogs and has previously gone to dog parks and daycare. Sookie is so incredibly sweet and grateful. Her biggest challenge has been being paralyzed in her hind legs since birth, but she has been working really hard on getting stronger. With area rugs, she cannow  take several steps at a time. She scoots around or uses her wheels, and she can go very fast! Sookie may never walk normally, but that hasn’t stopped her. She is getting stronger every day, is able to stand, take a few steps, and joyfully scoots around the yard with her furry friends. This asolute sweetheart is incredibly mellow for her age. She LOVES food, loves to explore the yard, loves belly rubs, loves to play with the other dogs, and loves to snuggle next to you or a resident dog. She sleeps through the night and chills or plays with the resident dogs during the day. Diaper changes are a breeze. She knows the drill and stands still while you change it. She’s our eternal toddler — diaper changes and all — and she is so happy to be alive! She is a total sweetheart who always works around her challenges, and her adorable little head tilt will melt your heart. Sookie is ready for her forever home. Spooky/Rocco is an easygoing, affectionate companion who has made tremendous progress in foster care. While he can still be a little unsure in some situations, his confidence grows every day. He now happily greets visitors to his foster home with tail wags and gentle kisses, and it's been a joy to watch him blossom. Rocco is looking for a family that understands confidence is built through patience, consistency, and trust. He still appreciates a little guidance when something feels uncertain, but he continues to make incredible strides. He's also learning that he doesn't have to be responsible for making all the decisions—his people can handle that! With calm, confident leadership, he has improved tremendously and continues to do better every day. Rocco is house and crate trained and has wonderful house manners. He gets along well with other dogs, has done well meeting the cats in his foster home, and enjoys being part of the family without being demanding. If you're looking for a loyal, gentle companion who has already come so far and is ready to keep growing with the right family, Rocco is ready to meet you. He's a truly wonderful dog who simply needs someone willing to believe in him as much as his foster family already does.

Star has had a tremendous two weeks at training. He's an active dog who needs an active adopter who can meet his exercise needs throughout the day with playtime. Star and his trainer can't believe he's still waiting! This guy is a true gem. If you are looking for a dog who loves being your companion, and taking adventures. This is your guy. Star loves 'working;' the time he spends demonstrating his super dog skills is his favorite of the day. He does need a solid physical fence, or efence, and he does have a lot of energy, but it will be very easy to manage in the right house, with adopters who are looking for a dog to Do Things With! He will always be affectionate, and friendly, and generally the best boy. Crate and house trained, with great manners. A great walker, who is super attentive to his handler. The right adopter will be so lucky to have Star in their life! Star is happy, friendly guy; he's so affectionate and gentle taking food.

Thunder is a sweet boy looking for an active family with whom to continue exploring the world. He has been demonstrating his excitement with zoomies at his foster home. He’s a sweet boy, with lots of energy and young-dog joy who hasn’t yet had much in the way of training. But he's working on that. This fun guy takes treats gently and is eager to please. Foster Mom is working with him on things like keeping all 4 paws on the floor and knowing what things are appropriate to put in his mouth. He likes the beach and car rides and loves being with people. Thunder would love an agility class or basic obedience with his person. He's looking for an active adopter, committed to working on his training so that he can shine! He’s so excited about his future with his loving family!

Handsome Mr. Whitby is looking for a family to love! This friendly young fellow had a rough start to life, but his luck is now turning. We're not sure if he's had any training, so his new family will want to look into it as a way to bond with him and get him caught up on living the good life. We also don't know how much experience he's had with leashes or living indoors, so his new family will need to be patient and take their time introducing him to things. Despite his hard past, Whitby is a loving boy once he warms up. He's really looking forward to playing and cuddling with his new family. Whitby is a Labradoodle, so his new family will need to be ready to commit time and money to make sure he's properly and regularly groomed (brushing, frequent trims, etc.). Sweet Willy is a gentle soul with a big heart. He knows and obeys his commands, is very patient and cooperative in helping his fosters get him ready for his walks or car rides, and is a quiet, calm, polite houseguest. He loves playing with his stuffed animals. His current favorites are a stuffed Minion and a Chewbaru, but he's always in the market for a new soft friend. Willy recently went to PetSmart for a dog adventure. He had good interactions with dogs from a distance and then went about his shopping. He thrives on human attention, loves all sorts of affection, and prefers to not share his people with another dog in his home. If his people are not readily visible, he will go "check in," which will most often involve offering a paw for handholding for a minute or two! Willy enjoys playing ball or wandering around the yard. One of Willy's favorite things is being tucked in at night with his favorite blue plaid blanket. He is such a sweetheart! Willy continues to win hearts everywhere he goes and brings warmth into every room he occupies. All he needs is a home with loving people to call his own so he can spread his warmth and love in return!

Wylie is an affectionate young Lab mix who will make a fine companion in the right environment. Wylie has been enjoying a little one-on-one time with our trainer and is doing very well. He has good house manners, rides well in the car, and is house- and crate-trained. He's a big strong boy who is quite affectionate when he feels safe and known by his humans. Wylie can be nervous in new situations, but this initial reserve and uncertainty gives way to a playful, sweet, and fun personality once he feels secure. He adapted well to his trainer's home and will do well in his future home provided he is allowed to approach new relationships at his own pace and is given a chance to settle before new social demands are placed on his calendar. Wylie will do best in home where he is the only dog. He's a really good boy!
